Self healing clay fabric sequesters users daily carbon production through cementation, mirroring natures beautiful phenomena of carbon mineralization. Inspired by the earths morphing landscape, the wearer embodies the earths sedimentary skin. Brought to life in a carbon mineralising chamber, “LITHOSKIN” takes the process of capturing carbon over millions of years, into a synthesised overnight process. The chambers programmed mist patterns synthesise erosion through “weathering”. which combined with the user’s daily CO2 production and clay sediments mineralise unveiling the wearers personalised “LITHOSKIN”.
